Toasting Doddie Aid 2025 (Jan 2025)

Stirling County RFC hosted a DoddieAid 6 Nations Preview night to raise funds for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Hosted by Deacon Blue legend and TV presenter Dougie Vipond, a panel of rugby stars including Rob Wainwright, Adam Hastings,. Kyle Steyn, Chris Patterson and Emma Wassall discussed the upcoming 6 Nations.

As fundraising partners of the foundation, Genius Brewing supported the event by donating raffle prizes and having our mid-strength, light craft beers available at the bar. 5p from every can goes to help find a cure for MND.

The event attracted an all-star panel of Scotland players Kyle Steyn and Adams Hastings of Glasgow Warriors plus Scotland Women’s star Emma Wassall. Former Scotland and British & Irish Lions players Peter Wright and Rob Wainwright added their wisdom and stories of playing with Doddie.

The sold-out evening was a huge success, raising over £19,000 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
